The Informant!
  1. Where the Wild Things Are

The film tells the story of Max, a rambunctious and sensitive boy who feels misunderstood at home and escapes to where the Wild Things are. Max lands on an island where he meets mysterious and strange creatures whose emotions are as wild and unpredictable as their actions. The Wild Things desperately long for a leader to guide them, just as Max longs for a kingdom to rule. When Max is crowned king, he promises to create a place where everyone will be happy. Max soon finds, though, that ruling his kingdom is not so easy and his relationships there prove to be more complicated than he originally thought.

  2. 2012

Never before has a date in history been so significant to so many cultures, so many religions, scientists, and governments. 2012 is an epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors. From Roland Emmerich, director of THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW and INDEPENDENCE DAY, starring John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Woody Harrelson and Danny Glover.

  3. Frost Nixon

For three years after being forced from office, Nixon remained silent. But in summer 1977, the steely, cunning former commander in chief agreed to sit for one all inclusive interview to confront the questions of his time in office and the Watergate scandal that ended his presidency. Nixon surprised everyone in selecting Frost as his televised confessor, intending to easily outfox the breezy British showman and secure a place in the hearts and minds of Americans. Likewise, Frosts team harbored doubts about their boss ability to hold his own. But as cameras rolled, a charged battle of wits resulted. Over the course of their encounter, each man would reveal his own insecurities, ego and reserves of dignity, ultimately setting aside posturing in a stunning display of unvarnished truth.

  4. The Wrestler

Back in the late 80s, Randy The Ram Robinson was a headlining professional wrestler. Now, twenty years later, he ekes out a living performing for handfuls of diehard wrestling fans in high school gyms and community centers around New Jersey. Nominated for best actor at the 2009 academy awards, Mickey Rourke delivers a knock out performance that echoes the kind of come back his character displays.

Almost 20 years later, Mikes glory days are decidedly behind him. His marriage to Scarlet has fallen apart, he has been passed over for a promotion at work, his teenage kids think he is a loser, and he has been reduced to crashing with his high school nerd turned techno billionaire best friend Ned. But Mike is given another chance when he is miraculously transformed back to the age of 17. Unfortunately, Mike may look 17 again, but his thirtysomething outlook is totally uncool among the class of 2009. And in trying to recapture his best years, Mike could lose the best things that ever happened to him.

  2. State Of Play

Unflappable U.S. Congressman Stephen Collins is the future of his political party, an honorable appointee who serves as the chairman of a committee overseeing defense spending. McAffrey has the dubious fortune of both an old friendship with Collins and a ruthless editor, Cameron, who has assigned him to investigate. As he and partner Della try to uncover the killers identity, McAffrey steps into a cover up that threatens to shake the nations power structures. And in a town of spin doctors and wealthy politicos, he will discover one truth. That when billions are at stake, no ones integrity, love or life is ever safe.

  3. Race To Witch Mountain

When they discover that the only chance to save the world lies in unraveling the secrets of Witch Mountain, the race begins.

  4. Knowing

In 1958, as part of the dedication ceremony for a new elementary school, a group of students is asked to draw pictures to be stored in a time capsule. But one mysterious girl fills her sheet of paper with rows of apparently random numbers instead. Fifty years later, a new generation of students examines the capsules contents and the girls cryptic message ends up in the hands of young Caleb Koestler. But it is Calebs father, professor John Koestler, who makes the startling discovery that the encoded message predicts with pinpoint accuracy the dates, death tolls and coordinates of every major disaster of the past 50 years. As Ted further unravels the documents chilling secrets, he realizes the document foretells three additional events, the last of which hints at destruction on a global scale and seems to somehow involve Ted and his son. When Teds attempts to alert the authorities fall on deaf ears, he takes it upon himself to try to prevent more destruction from taking place.

Tinted Windows
  1. Tinted Windows

Fusing the sounds of powerpop, rock and New Wave of the late 70s and early 80s, with the more modern rock and pop sounds of their own groups, the result is a fun, stripped down, high energy record that doesnt really sound like anything else any of the four has done elsewhere. Meet Tinted Windows.

  2. Little White Lies

Best known for their 1998 smashes THE WAY and OUT OF MY HEAD, Fastball return with its fifth album LITTLE WHITE LIES. The album showcases the melodic songwriting and Vilcan mind meld harmonies that have become the bands trademark. They bring the rock on trippy numbers like ALWAYS NEVER and explore new styles with the super danceable title track. THE MALCONTENT is a jangly Simon and Garfunkel type meditation on modern life and SOUL RADIO closes the album with a beautiful counterpoint between lead singers Miles Zuniga and Tony Scalzo.

  3. Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace

Dave Grohl has come a long way since being the drummer Nirvana. He has managed to become more popular and everlasting as the front man of the melodic hard rock band Foo Fighters. This new set, the follow-up to 2005s In Your Honor, finds the band at perfect harmony with its hard-hitting rock attitude and mellowed out acoustic alter ego. A must have for all fans, newcomers, and die-hards alike.

  4. Born Into This

The Cult have come a long way since being the go-to band for hard rock of the 80s. Why, just recently, Ian Astbury was the front man for the legendary Doors, filling in for a long since gone Jim Morrison. So where does The Cult go from here? Back to their rock roots, thats where. This power fueled album is full of hooks and riffs so good, they could usher in a new revival era in music. Lets hope it does.

  5. Exile on Mainstream

This collection of hits, plus a brand new single, is everything a fan just getting started could hope for. It has all the classics, the songs that invaded the airwaves back in the 90s and refused to leave. Fronted by the now solo famous Rob Thomas, Matchbox Twenty has returned.
